It’s been such a lovely fall this year. Long-lasting colors, relatively mild temps (sans bugs), the drive to get out there while the good times roll hasn’t let up yet. At some point it will, the dark, the damp, and the cold will strip away the motivation and drive from many but for now we’re having a grand old time. This is especially important to those hiking the Grid (meaning to hike all of the 4000-footers every month of the year). These “Gridiots” as some affectionately call them really benefit being able to tackle their often challenging shoulder-season hikes with greater joy and ease with less concern about fall’s dangers and late Fall ick. Such is the case for one many-time-returning Gridder as he circles back to finish up grabbing the few and the final needed to complete this gargantuan task. Leading this trip, the team homing in on Mt Eisenhower for November, as usual, was Redline Guide Chase Hall. His photos follow.
