mountain weddings so we put that spin on it. The ceremony was on the grounds of the Hobbs Tavern and Brewing Company. They have a nice location in a field with a lazy river meandering through this scenic backdrop. The ceremony was, as requested, very short and sweet. So much so, in fact, that Redline Guide and Justice of the Peace Mike Cherim warned the photographer that the actual ceremony would last only three minutes or so as that is what the bride and groom opted for. Mike slowed things down trying to make time so the photographer could take the needed photos. Even though the ceremony is short, the results thankfully still last a lifetime. After the ceremony, drinks and appetizers were served from a tent in the same field. This would wisely occupy the guests’ time while the bride and groom had more photos taken. The reception was to be be held in a large, beautifully-appointed function room on an upper floor of the tavern. The weather was perfect. Clear, not too hot, some sun. A very nice September day.
