Spring Skiing in Tux

It’s almost April so while it’s not totally unheard of while backcountry skiing, having a “powder day” this late in the season is indeed a lucky break, to be sure. We know our guests up from Mass had a great time making tracks up and back. What follows is a short summary from Redline Guide Erik Samia, who led this day of adventure.

We lucked out with superb conditions! First time backcountry skiing and using AT gear and both guests did amazing. We were able to do some assessments of the snowpack, talk about history of the area, and how to dial in the equipment and systems. We decided to climb up Left Gully and had a great ski all the way down. A powder day in Tuckerman Ravine in late March is hard to beat! —Erik

Great job, Erik. And to our guests, thanks for adventuring with Redline Guiding. Glad the powder we ordered arrived in time!
