Noting the title of this blog post, you may be wondering how rock becomes ice. The answer is quite simply: time. Scientifically-speaking, you know this isn’t possible (right?), though geologists might argue the point, so how’s it all work? How on earth does rock become ice over time? Well, it goes something like this:
- A couple signs up for a rock climbing epic…
- but life gets in the way, things happen…
- and rock climbing isn’t one of them!
- The couple is given a credit to use later and…
- Boom, rock climbing becomes ice climbing in winter.
Specifically the couple took an ice climbing intro course with Redline Guide Pat Ferland. They headed up into Crawford Notch to get their fix. They had a blast and between Pat, our guests, and Mike Cherim, here are a few photos to check out.
