Are you ready? We are... Meet the Ready Pack: It's everything you need!

Connecting Sections

Once again Redline Guide Arlette Laan was helping many-time returning guest “Bear Repellent” make her way through New Hampshire’s version of the Appalachian Trail (AT). Section by section, flipping then flopping, working around the weather and anything else that gets in the way. The result: it’s happening. The sections are getting connected. Only one remains, and it’s the easiest so she’ll probably hike it with friends. What follows is a photo journey of the span of time this latest collection of efforts occurred.

The Zealand summit.

Step 2: From Guyot to Garfield…

South Twin.

Climbing up toward Garfield.

The final paces to Garfield.

Step 3: Garfield to Liberty Spring Trailhead…

The land that time forgot.

Charging toward Lafayette.

Lafayette: The crown jewel of Franconia Ridge.

Headed toward Lincoln.

Home for the night.

It was tough but they got it done.
