We had four days to dedicate to variety and variety is what we gave. Items included hiking Mts Flume and Liberty, an overnight at the Liberty Spring Tentsite, strolling along the Franconia bike path, visiting the Basin, camping at Franconia Brook Tentsite, heading over to Artists Bluff after some rain. And more (rain)… it’s all a blur now. But fun was definitely had, despite said rain. On lead for this four days and three nights of a mixer of activities with our guest was Redline Guide Arlette Laan. What follows is her brief summary along with several photos — decidedly out of order to keep with the theme.
Exploring Peaks, Waterfalls, and Granite Ledges
With private trips we can be flexible and creative. Want some peaks, exertion, and backpacking? We can do that! Want some waterfall day hikes? We can do that, too! Want a little bit of elevation gain, but not too much? Yep, we can do that, too! Want to camp out in a sweet spot that’s an easy walk in? You got it! We listen to our guests and work together to come up with a plan. Ultimately we hope the guest leaves with a smile on their face. In this case there was much joy to be had and as a guide, I count myself lucky to have shared this experience with my guest. —Arlette
