Patrice and Austin – Sept 22, 2018
From California, bride and groom Patrice and Austin requested a wedding in the field adjacent to the quaint and surperbly picturesque Union Church. What a great spot. It’s so pretty there. To anyone who has hiked out of the Ferncroft trailhead — serving Blueberry Ledge and Dicey’s Mills trails to name but two — has driven right by this church and its neighboring field before. What a pleasing, serene location for a wedding.
Also pleasing and delightful was the ceremony itself as it had a decidedly spiritual, earthy vibe complete with the burning of a sage smudge as well as some sweet grass. And this was just the start. It was a fun service that they had prepared for themselves and we were pleased to play a role.
Below are a few photos of the event.

Here comes the bride…
At the very beginning of their new life together.

Happiness.
Parting scene, the new husband and wife begin honoring their guests with gifts.
Creation is continuous and the center of the universe is everywhere. And it is there that you are now, together as one. Good luck and blessings in your future. Congratulations Patrice and Austin!
