Echo Lake Wedding

The couple hoped for a May 23rd, 2023 Rim Trail wedding on Cannon Mountain, but the tram hadn’t been opened yet so they asked us to think of some other spots, noting Echo Lake. This was probably for the best. Up there the wind would have been howling and we would have froze. Redline Guide and in-house wedding photographer Mike Maciel even went on an advanced scouting mission the day before and noted some spots by the Lake. Redline Guide and Justice of the Peace Mike Cherim arrived early on the day of, also intent of scouting out some locations. It’s a pretty area so there’s a lot to choose from. Like Mike M., Mike C checked out Echo Lake and was rather drawn to the boat launch area. It was highly accessible and quite pretty. He pitched the idea to the couple — who had also thought Echo Lake might be a good Plan B right from the start — and they agreed it would work nicely, right on the water’s edge. Family looked on, even the adorable ring-bearing family dog styled in her sequined gown watched as the couple tied the knot. What follows are some scenes created by Mike M.

To the couple, huge congratulation on your marriage! We wish you the very best! Thank you for letting us make it happen!
