Please take note of the following:
Operational Status
Being a non-critical business we are suspending almost all operations (see below) until… well, until it’s safe to resume them normally without putting anyone in jeopardy: our guides, our guests, and anyone who could become involved with us to include other hikers, merchants, SAR, anyone. If you have a booking and require a reschedule with us please know we will honor your deposit until the end of time and ask that you just be patient while this passes. We will, however, allow tentative rescheduling at any time so please get in touch as you get closer to your scheduled date. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns not answered herein.
Info About Weddings
At this time all intimate, low risk ceremonies will go on as planned though we will be observing the six foot rule and observing any other precautions necessary and ask our couples to do the same. We are also accepting appointments from new couples (fill out the form on that page). We will continue to have wedding pre-meets, though we will be asking that they be done virtually via telephone, Facetime, or Skype.
A Virtual Option
Speaking of virtual, we would like to explore having a wilderness navigation class (classroom part) and a winter skills class via Facetime or Skype and are looking for someone to book one of those with us so that we can try it.
What You Can Do To Help
To help, if you interact with us in any capacity, we ask that you be patient with us during this time, as mentioned above. Moreover, if you’re feeling optimistic, we are still accepting bookings for later in the spring, summer, fall, even next winter so we encourage your optimism. Book now — or buy a gift certificate (we will also extend the expiration dates of existing certificates as required). And, regardless of whether you interact with us or not, for the sake of the rest of the population, we ask that you simply stay home in the population center where you reside, the one hopefully equipped to support you, and help in the worldwide effort to keep ourselves and others safe.
Thank you, all, and good luck!
