Plan A was to hike up Jewell Trail and access the summit of Mt Washington from that side, then get our guests on the train for the descent. Redline Guide Chase Hall, however, realizing how strong and capable they were, offered to extended the hike and to lead the team on a hiking descent via the Ammo. Thanks to some awesome vibes, great weather, and everyone’s spirit and energy, the family of three — includling an 8-year-old — was all for it. The 8-year-old son in particular was loving life and showing a deep appreciation of the exquisite magic around him. He was especially stoked by the quartz “marshmallows” atop all the cairns up there.
