A new guest came to us looking for a companion for an ascent up Mt Washington’s Huntington Ravine. That was her main goal. Our guest was very capable on the scrambles but felt nervous about the exposure in Huntington Ravine. It was fun watching her push through the mental challenge to check this 3rd class ‘trail’ off her bucket list. We topped out before the rain arrived and got to see the Alpine Garden in bloom. All in all it was a good day on Mt Washington! —Debra
