Our guest, a young man from Ohio, had some experience tramping having hiked in the area of Mt Fuji in Japan. Next up he had his sights set on hiking in New Hampshire, testing himself in the winter White Mountains. He booked and on his form he specifically requested the Hancocks. His first “big hike,” and he wanted to hire a guide to keep him out of trouble. Smart! We had Redline Guide Ken Hodges show him the ropes. Ken reported that our guest was stoked, relishing the experience, and he also suspected he’ll soon be back for more. After all, he now has only 46 of the 48 NH 4000-footers to go. Here are a few photos of the day.
