Does “Spring Mix describe a bagged salad? Well, yes, but here in the Mt Washington Valley the Spring Mix best describes the myriad adventures and educational opportunities that present themselves at this time of year. What follows is a short video re-cap of some of the cool stuff we did over the past few days. Activities include a Basic Mountaineering Skills course (educational program) led by Redline Guides Mike Cherim and Ken Hodges. This was held, with permission, at Black Mountain Ski Area in Jackson, NH (thank you). Over this period we also led some Hiking and Backpacking, and even some Mountaineering — all led by Redline Guide Pat Ferland — and last but not least, some Backcountry Skiing happened. This was led by Redline Guide Dominic Torro. We hope you enjoy the video and maybe get inspired to do one of these springy things while we still can. Please note that some of these winter-focused offerings are available through the month of April and even into May. If you’re headed out west, for example, we can still offer our mountaineering and Glacier Skills classes to help you get dialed in.
