Zachariah and Sonja — Married October 7th, 2019
The call came in this morning, much like they often do. This one from the groom. “
My fiancé and I want to get married and were wondering if you’re available,” he asked. “
Yes. Maybe. When are you thinking?” we asked in reply, breaking out the calendar as we spoke. “
Now!” said the groom. We looked out the window, the rain coming down and asked where they wanted it. They didn’t have anything in particular in mind, assuming we’d just gather at our
Basecamp location in Intervale. No frills. We looked out the window again then replied, suggesting some frills. We asked if they wanted to do it at the Swift River Covered Bridge. The lighting there is challenging, but it’s a pretty location out of the rain. They loved the idea. So, an hour and a half later they were married.
