Congratulations Stephen and Emily, may all your days be so perfect.
Redline Guide and Justice of the Peace Mike Cherim didn’t get the memo on this, however, but almost grabbed a flannel shirt out of his closet before heading over anyway. It must be a New Hampshire thing. The couple loves the outdoors, from mountains (her thing) to the ocean (his thing), so the flannel was just them. The actual wedding, of course, was formal, but the fabric of fun held fast throughout. The ceremony was well planned, thoughtful, detailed, and very touching. Theirs was a beautiful fall day, stereotypically so, a crispness in the early evening air, the skies so blue, the trees’ leaves so red, orange, and yellow, but yet the grass is still lush and green. Perfect!
The title will have meaning to the couple, since the rehearsal was held on what they deemed “Flannel Friday” — the day before their Saturday wedding. And during the Friday rehearsal, flannel was indeed all the rage.
