It’s that time of year… weddings and lupine.
Marriage in progress…
Just a couple days after our last wedding, we find ourselves at another. This time officiating for a couple with their small contingent of family. They were staying at the opulent Mt Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods and, with the cooperation of the hotel, were welcome to celebrate their nuptials on the lovely manicured grounds — with a plan B to hold the ceremony on the sweeping veranda if it rained. It didn’t.
For those who haven’t been, this is a pretty stunning location with breaktaking views of the Presidential Range from Mts Jefferson all the way to Webster (Jefferson, Clay, Washington, Monroe, Franklin, Eisenhower, Pierce, Jackson, and Webster). And as luck would have it, nature cooperated, too. The temperatures were perfect and nice breezes kept the bugs away.
Here are a few more photos of the day (images by Redline Guide and photographer Bill Robichaud).
