We love that we are able to extended the season down here in the Mt Washington Valley as it concerns Mountaineering Skills training. This is perfect for those who want to do this in the spring — perhaps preparing for some big climbs elsewhere in the world or maybe just hoping to avoid the cold of winter. While we still have good, climbable snow on Mt Washington and at higher elevations, the Valley is pretty much cooked. That said, thanks to our friends at Black Mountain Ski Area in Jackson, we’re still going strong. Leading this group of five was Redline Guide Pat Ferland. According to Pat this half day class went amazingly well and they all had a lot of fun. What follows are some photos he took.
