We are always looking for ways to improve our service and enhance the experience of our guests. Because of this, and our ability to recognize a good thing, we have partnered with a new North Conway start-up called the White Mountain Sauna Haus. As the name implies they offer two sauna rooms and a few ice tubs for cold soaking. In our eyes we see this as a great thing to offer to our guests. If they are playing and staying on this side of the mountains with us, they have to time to stick around, and it isn’t a Tuesday or Wednesday (when the WMSH is closed), this can be an awesome addition to an already amazing experience. White Mountain Sauna Haus brings a European bathing experience to the Mountain Washington Valley. Two Finnish style dry saunas provide heat from 170°F up to 205°F while our cold plunge tubs provide the perfect contrast to the heat. Together, contrast therapy provides a great way to relax, recover tired muscles (from hiking and climbing), and connect with other humans. The bathing experience provides a built in digital detox: phones are not allowed in the bathing space, and they don’t work in a sauna! This allows for deep and meaningful connection with other people, which studies show is essential for long term health and happiness.
