A returning guest, now 85 years old, wanted to push further up Mt Washington. Last time he went as far as the second bridge before the time and temperature ruled against continuing. On this trip, as Redline Guide Chase Hall mentioned: “[our guest] was on fire with a consistent and non-stop pace.” They make it to the Hermit Lakes Shelters and continued on a bit toward the Tuckerman Ravine Cirque. They could have gone further but sliding fall risks ramp up after the cabin so Chase erred on the side of caution. Here are a few photos of the day.
