Most of the time we will write posts about single events: a hike, a climb, a backpack, etc. But on some weekends there is just so much going on it’s a bit overwhelming (not complaining) to try and piece it out like that. Sometimes we have to blend the ingredients and make some sort of mountain adventures smoothie, so to speak. Inasmuch this post will be such a consolidation of most of this weekend’s training and climbing activities on Mt Washington. We have some more backcountry ski trips let to be posted, and one more Rock Pile attempt (as we speak), but this update stew will give the bulk of it. The Redline Guides who were involved with these Mt Washington climbs and skills trainings include Pat Ferland, Debra McCown, Chase Hall, and Timothy Wentzell.
