In the last exciting episode of this Two-Day Winter Mt Washington (times two) Program we told you about the responsibility shifting from one person to another, in this episode that responsibility shifted back. Leading this second round was Redline Guide Debra McCown and on this part mother nature took a breath for a moment and offered our guest the summit with low winds and delightfully mild temps.
Mild temps (like upper teens all day) and very little wind, a little bit of sunshine, a little bit of snow, good visibility, and overall great conditions for winter on Mt Washington. A highlight was meeting the other Redline group on the summit! They had come up a hiking route on the western side, and we’d come up Lion Head on the eastern side, and we were all on the summit at the same time! —Debra
