To hike the Grid, as we’ve said many times, is to hike all of the NH 4000-footers every month of the year. It’s an amazing feat resulting in one bagging 576 peaks (though not necessarily in one year, to be clear). We have one oft-returning guest working on just this thing and he’s been at it a while. One of our guides is often leading him — or more so going as a knowing companion… just in case. The guide we’re referring to is Redline Guide Chase Hall. This mission was to grab Galehead, South Twin, and North Twin. The latter, as the title says, is done. It has been “Gridded out.” Here are some photos of this not-yet-winter-really-it’s-still-a-fall day.
