A couple reached out to us hoping to get in an early Mountaineering Skills training day in prep for an exciting season. At this time of year it can be a challenge due to lack of snow cover. This year, however, we were looking really good for it, two decent storms in the books giving us a nice base. Unfortunately rain came to the Mt Washington Valley thinning out the depths and crusting things up with the cold. Undeterred, the duo, led by Redline Guide Pat Ferland, still got out there selective in their training grounds. In the end they got it done.

We didn’t have photo permissions from the couple to use their images but we did want to mention the class and Pat getting out there.
