A regular guest working on his Grid (hiking all the 4ks every month of the year) was at it again. As usual he had Redline Guide Chase Hall to lend a hand and offer oversight. On the docket for November were North and Middle Tripyramids. A new element was added to this particular hike, one that we haven’t really seen much of in a while: snow. For proof, we have Chase’s words and a few photos.
Fun times with my guest today. Pine Bend Brook Trail was in excellent shape. We used spikes at 3800 feet. First hike of the season where it was snowing above 4000. It stopped snowing between North and Middle and gave off some great views of the surroundings mountains. —Chase
