The theme is to try and try again. In the books and movies the protagonist usually succeeds and in the real world things can be more hit or miss. In this case, our protagonist exited scene one defeated but then by the end of scene two she carried the trophy of success. No special effects or movie magic, no ace up the sleeve, no gimmicks, just hard work and determination. The “Semi-Pemi” complete. Helping lead the way is Redline Guide Arlette Laan. A Glorious Semi-Pemi
Our last attempt was thwarted by bad weather and low energy but this time around we had amazing weather and fall colors. The stoke was high and the energy was great! Day 1 had us tenting at 13 Falls, a nice and mellow hike to get us started. Day 2 had lots of elevation gain and beautiful views with a night at Guyot Tentsite. Day 3 had the wonderful Bonds and glorious fall colors on the Lincoln Woods trail. —Arlette
