Our guest from NYC came to us hoping to hike the notorious Mt Washington, one-on-one, before departing to conduct some business in Amsterdam. It was very short notice, and on a weekend, and during a peak period, but we were able to take on the tour with the guest’s cooperation (by pushing back her flight). Leading her on this tour was Redline Guide Debra McCown. Her words and photos follow:
Today’s guest had her sights on Mt Washington, and it was a great day for it! The sun was shining, the weather was cool enough to be comfortable, and she got to experience a little taste of the wind that the highest peak in the Northeast is known for!
We also had fun seeing another Redline-guided group, which we passed on our way up and then saw again (for a full group photo, obvi) on the way down. —Debra
