In a year our new guests, new hikers, would like to trek to Peru’s “Lost City of the Incas,” Machu Picchu. Today’s tour served as step one of their plan to get there. To begin they opted for a “tourist tour” event, but not our standard offering. Instead of visiting some waterfalls and whatnot in the standard two- to three-hour offering, however, they wanted a short hike in that span of time. Redline Guide Mike Cherim decided Blackcap would fit the bill perfectly. Not quite a half day offering, but enough to get the ball rolling. Next up: a half day with a larger objective.
