At 3997-feet Mt Tecumseh — a long-established 4000-footer — isn’t actually 4000-feet. It remains on the list, for now, and seems to be grandfathered, so to speak. That said, we know one guy who claims to be done with Tecumseh. Like, he’s over it. We suppose we know what you may be thinking at this point so well let Redline Guide Chase Hall clear things up…
My guest Gridded out Tecumseh today. We’re making great progress on the Grid and the list is starting to dwindle leaving several Grid-out hikes. These are a very special hikes and have so much meaning to the person hiking those same mountains 12 times. It’s a pretty cool feeling. My guest has hiked Mt Tecumseh in every single month in a calendar year — that’s 12 hikes, January thru December, all four seasons. Such a great day. Congratulations, 12/12, Tecumseh is Gridded-out! —Chase
