A returning guest wanted it but he couldn’t have it. Well, he could have it but it wasn’t very fine. This time he repeated his steps from last year and got the goods the way the good should be got. The goods in this case being great views and nice weather on the north end of the Franconia Ridge. Leading the charge on this trip, and the last one, was Redline Guide Chase Hall. He wrote this:
A returning guest wanted some weather redemption on the Franconia Ridge loop. And today the ridge granted him his wish. He got spectacular views of both Lincoln and Lafayette. We were surprised to see a brand new bridge; it’s going to help a lot of hikers in the future. —Chase
