A returning guest from North Carolina came to visit while on a holiday roadtrip with her daughter, who had never been on an adventure in the snow before.
Five years ago this January, we took our guest up Mount Washington for her 50th birthday. On this trip however, we didn’t want to put our newest guest through the wringer so they opted for sunrise on a 52WAV mountain.
Willard fit the criteria and we walked out of the tunnel into a perfect early dawn glow. —Mike M
