I want to join a class but cannot find event dates. When are your classes?
We generally provide custom services. In other words, if you want to take Wilderness Navigation next Tuesday, select that course on our booking form then provide the date (or date range) you want. We work within your schedule. Generally.

The weather is lousy on the day of my activity, am I stuck with it?
If you gave us a date range when you booked and if we’re free to accommodate, we will try our best to reschedule you within that timeframe. Otherwise, as we rarely cancel due to weather, it’s probably a go (see our policies for more).

May we bring our dog on an adventure with us?
Probably, for a hike only, but we have contingencies and limits: the dog must be well behaved, physically restrained (not necessarily the whole time), and that the demands and dangers of the activity will not exceed the animal’s capabilities. Extra charges may apply.

Finalizing the booking on the phone seems quaint; why no online gateway?
Honestly, it’s a move right out of outdoor leadership school when we covered screenings (the full answer is involved). The reason, however, is we want to provide the best possible custom experiences and find the phone helps us do that.

Do you offer backpacking porter services, like a mountain top room service of sorts?
We do offer this on a limited basis so if you find that you want to break a long hike into two shorter hikes, thus requiring a backpacker’s overnight, but don’t want to lug all your gear to the location, we can help. We can do it for you.
