Furthering his education, Redline Guide Ryan McGuire just attended an “Avy Two” course from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE). This course is part of a progression Ryan began with “Avy One” followed by an “Avy Rescue” course. In a nod to old friends, the course was taught by David Lottmann, Northeast Alpine Start, and hosted by Corey Fitzgerald and company at Northeast Mountaineering. Well done, Ryan. Moving forward our guests will be even safer as they venture with us into the backcountry, skiing, mountaineering, and more.
