Four Weddings in a Day

Officiating three weddings in a day was the record last year. This year we not only matched that record, we upped it by one for officiating four weddings on Saturday, October 10th, 2020. What follows isn’t really a blog post about each of these special events, but rather a very brief summary and a hearty congratulations to all four couples. They are all tied together, in a way, not just by the common date, but by way our Justice of the Peace Mike Cherim being the common officiant.

Amazing views from Mt Willard.

1. Mt Willard Wedding (8:00am)

Hiking up Mt Willard is a terrific way to start the day and heading up early helped everyone avoid the crowds. Early enough, yet late enough: the timing was spot on. Just as they were about to begin, the sun cleared Mt Webster shining on the scene. It was perfect. And to photograph it was Redline Guide Álvaro Marques.

Justin and Amy — Married October 10th, 2020

The sun begins to light the scene.

Congratulations Amy and Justin!

2. Franconia Notch Wedding (10:30am)

They remembered it was by a picnic table after two bridges leaving from The Basin, but couldn’t get more specific, but you know the one if you’ve hiked a Fliberty (Flume-Liberty) loop before. You walk right past the scene. The scene being a pleasant little spot on the river with special meaning — at least for the couple.

Beau and Ginny — Married October 10th, 2020

The location was about a mile from the Basin.

Congratulations Ginny and Beau!

3. Cathedral Ledge Wedding (1:00pm)

It was hot, bright, and crowded on Cathedral Ledge. Very crowded, but being that the road was still closed, those up there either climbed or hiked. The ceremony took place on the south ledges (just above Classroom Ledge) with a terrific view of some still-bold fall colors along the shoulders of Whitehorse Ledge.

Lauren and Josh — Married October 10th, 2020

We could feel the warmth.

Congratulations Lauren and Josh!

4. Hart’s Location Wedding (4:00pm)

The location of this wedding is private, no photos are available, but it was off the hook, a stunning to-die-for estate in the township of Hart’s Location (like the Mt Willard summit). The service was followed by a considerable soirée to which Mike partook in limited fashion before calling it a day.

Conrad and Victory — Married October 10th, 2020

Huge smiles 🙂

Congratulations Victory and Conrad!

Quite the setting.

To all four couples, congratulations and thank you for choosing Redline Guiding for your special day.
